Which formats and shops does Listy support?
Import: CSV/Excel (UTF‑8), Google Sheets or simple tables with flexible field mapping. Typical fields: EAN/GTIN, SKU, title, price, brand, short description.
How do I get started?
1) Connect a data source or upload CSV/Excel. 2) Map fields once. 3) Pick language, tone and guidelines. 4) Run a small test (5–10 items). 5) Go live — Listy generates products automatically and writes them to your system. No developer required.
How is Listy priced?
Free plan to try. Paid plans scale with volume and add‑ons (e.g. translations, image analysis). Cancel any time. For large catalogs or special needs we offer custom quotes.
EAN/SKU vs. freestyle copy — does Listy handle both?
Yes. Branded items: provide EAN/GTIN or SKU; Listy suggests category and attributes, generates copy and assigns images.
Does Listy really create products on its own?
Yes. For every record, Listy generates: title, bullets and long description; a matching category with attribute suggestions; image assignment incl. alt‑texts; variant grouping (e.g., color/size); and optional translations. Then we export/write the products into your system via API — no manual copy‑&‑paste.
What about SEO and legal requirements?
Listy creates SEO‑friendly titles, bullets and descriptions in your chosen tone. For regulated categories Listy inserts notices according to your rules (e.g., textile labelling). You can enforce guidelines, banned terms and style guides. Note: final legal responsibility remains with the merchant.
Are variants and images supported?
Yes. Variants are derived from attributes (e.g., color/size) or SKU patterns and grouped into parent/child products. Images are matched to products and variants; missing or conflicting mappings are flagged.
How do the items get into my system?
Via our Shopify app/API or by exporting CSV/JSON/Webhooks. If you already run a PIM, Listy sits in front: we create the new items including content and hand them over to your PIM/Shop/ERP. We intentionally do not manage stock, prices or orders.
